One of the founding members of QSO. Passionate about advancing computing technologies, Louis plays a key role in advertising QSO's major events, coordinate with campus sponsors (PQSEI), and supporting technical infrastructure. He also led coding workshops designed to strengthen technical skills and empower team members in developing and implementing quantum computing projects. Their research focuses on the intersection of GPU architecture and security.
Ryan Manley
Vice-President
Ryan is a sophomore Electrical Engineering student (Class of 2028) and the Vice President of Purdue’s Quantum Student Organization. He is an undergraduate researcher in the Nanometa group at the Birck Nanotechnology Center, focusing on experimental condensed matter physics, including work with 2D hBN spin defects and engineered moiré patterns. Within QSO, Ryan is currently leading a project to build a physical Bloch sphere controlled by Qiskit. Previously, he was a summer intern at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in the Quantum Heterostructures Group.
Aritro Chatterjee
Treasurer
I’m a sophomore majoring in Applied Physics at Purdue University, and I serve as the Treasurer of the Quantum Science Organization. In this role, I manage the club’s finances, budgets, and funding proposals to ensure we can support events, outreach, and initiatives that build interest in quantum science across campus. Outside of QSO, I’m conducting research in quantum computing and machine learning under Dr. Arnab Banerjee, where I work on simulations of frustrated lattice models and defects. This experience has fueled my passion for quantum technologies and deepened my appreciation for collaboration in scientific research. As Treasurer, my goal is to help QSO remain a strong, engaging community where students can explore quantum science, exchange ideas, and find opportunities to grow academically and professionally.

Francis Hasin
Social Media and Design Lead
Hi, I'm Francis, a sophomore majoring in Electrical Engineering at Purdue University. I am currently pursuing the Quantum Technology Concentration in EE, driven by my interest in cutting-edge quantum research and technology. In addition to my involvement in the Quantum Student Organization (QSO), I’m a member of IEEE Racing, where we work on building high-performance electric vehicles. I also work in Dr. Qiyu Liang's optics research group, where I contribute to innovative projects in the field of photonics. As the social media and design lead for QSO, I help to keep our community connected and informed about the latest opportunities in the world of quantum. Whether you have questions about QSO, Purdue’s quantum resources, or just want to chat about the field, feel free to reach out to me in person or online. I’m always happy to connect with fellow quantum enthusiasts!
